Checkout
The checkout settings define how the buying flow behaves before an order is placed. They also hold the storefront defaults for cart presentation and the rules used by shipping and totals components.
Cart and checkout experience
- AJAX add to cart can be enabled for a smoother cart update.
- The minicart sidebar and post-add-to-cart popup can be switched on independently.
- Checkout agreements are listed here and rendered in the summary step.
Inventory and limits
- Guest checkout can be allowed or restricted.
- Product stock can be managed by the plugin and decremented on order placement.
- Minimum order rules can be applied to both order completion and shipping method visibility.
Customer and business rules
- Company and VAT details can be required for B2B workflows.
- Delivery time slots can be enabled for checkout scheduling.
- Demo notice content is managed here when the store needs a visible test-mode message.
Shipping and totals
- Shipping fees, shipping zones, and shipping table rates are controlled from checkout settings.
- Total labels are editable for the cart summary.
- Do not change key column values in the totals table.
Operational notes
- Some layout and theme defaults are stored with checkout settings.
- Product and payment conditions can limit which methods appear during checkout.
- Keep the wording of agreements and total labels aligned with the storefront theme.
