Metadata

The Metadata tab helps technical admins troubleshoot how the order was created and processed.

Quote details block

When quote detail display is enabled, this tab shows quote-linked identifiers such as:

• Quote ID
• Cart ID
• Order ID and Increment ID
• Site ID
• User ID
• Quote created/updated timestamps

This data is useful when reconciling order issues with checkout logs or external integrations.

Client metadata block

If client metadata was collected during checkout, it appears in structured rows.
Values can include browser/session/client context and other captured fields, depending on integration setup.

When to use this tab

Use Metadata during:

• Checkout incident investigation
• Payment/shipping mismatch debugging
• Multi-site order origin verification
• Integration support tickets where raw IDs are required

Admin guidance

Metadata is primarily diagnostic.
For business-level order edits, use the General, Items, and Order Status workflows.
